Ration Pack - Army Reserve Ration Pack - Army Reserve

24 Hour Ration Pack

The 24-hour ration pack is designed to provide all of the nutritional requirements of an Army Reserve soldier participating in operations or exercises over a 24-hour period. Each pack consists of a breakfast, lunch, main meal, desert, various snacks and condiments and depending on the menu type will provide between 3,500 and 4,500 kilocalories of energy. The current 24-hour ration pack is the result of nutritional research, military field testing and is constantly evolving based on the feedback gathered from the soldiers who eat the ration packs, whether they be involved on exercises or operations in Ireland or overseas.
